Phoem has always enjoyed driving. Specially at high speeds. Believe it or not, this beautiful tv hostess goes out of town just to experience the buzz of high speed driving in remote highways when stressed out by the showbiz grind. This is her first time to participate in a real motor sport competition and is the only rose among the thorns.  She first found out about car racing through Ford’s Slalom Challenge that was held last August at the Mall of Asia and won best time in the female slalom category. JP Tuason spotted her racing potential and offered to train her at the TRS. After that, she quickly made arrangements to join this year’s Ford Focus Cup.

I took lessons at the Tuason Racing School picking up the basics and practicing behind the wheel.  It is really an excellent place to learn the ropes of racing.  JP and his crew of trained instructors patiently taught us the fine rudiments of motorsports.  I finally got my chance to put what I have learned at the Batangas Racing Circuit.  Boy, what an adrenalin rush that was!
