Introduction to Racing gives individuals a feel of what racing is all about. It focuses on the basic techniques and application. It is an orientation on the speed, the equipment and
discipline needed in racing. It will start with a short classroom session then orientation with the equipment, familiarization of the track and practice sessions with and without instructors in the car with you. Basic lessons are: Threshold Braking, Downshifting, Racing Line and Track Lapping. The Tuason Racing School, headed by JP Tuason, will conduct the course.

ADVANCED

Advanced Racing Course is for individuals who are seriously thinking of going into racing or for people who want to feel a more in depth racing experience. It promises a fast pace experience which will require concentration, faster hand & eye coordination and a good grasp of the fundamentals of racing. The course consists of track lapping sessions; passing techniques and race start procedures. It is a requirement that you take the Introduction to Racing Course.

LAPPING

Lapping Sessions are the final step before joining the Ford Focus Cup or any other alternative Race Series. Drivers will get to push the car to its limits without any co-driver in the vehicle. This set of training laps around the circuit is timed and completed under TRS instructors’ watchful eyes. Vital feedback is given to the driver in order to make adjustments and bring the lap times down. Optional data logging service can be done for a minimal fee.
